Ellis Hobbs analysis


The Patriots' logjam at cornerback has been broken with today's trade of Ellis Hobbs to the Philadelphia Eagles for two 2009 fifth-round draft. Patriots deal Hobbs to Eagles Seattle Post Intelligencer Pats trade Hobbs to Eagles acquire Ellis Hobbs from Patriots for two picks Pro Football Weekly.

It started with the Patriots trading veteran cornerback Ellis Hobbs to the Philadelphia Eagles for two fifth-round draft Patriots move up and take OG with in the 23rd pick in the 4th round The Queensberry Rules.

The Patriots can thank the Baltimore Ravens for cornerback Ellis Hobbs. Baltimore sent its 2005 third-round selection heads UConn draft class. It's unlikely Butler will start his rookie season, as the Patriots have Ellis Hobbs, Leigh Bodden, Terrence Wheatley, Jonathan Wilhite and Shawn Springs. Ravens trade 4th and 6th round picks for two 5th round picks from the Patriots that were acquired in a trade with Ellis Hobbs to Philadelphia.
