Troubleshoot W270 Motorola

Several users of W270 Motorola has trouble with accessing memory of the phone. It needs a tricky step to get memory acessible like USB (pen drive). Users generally tries to connect this music phone to computer to copy music files and or images. In windows generally it prompts for installation of drivers. You do not need driver CD to do this.

Please follow bellow steps to resolve this issue.

1. Open the Phone and Go to Menu
2. Select Settings Menu
3. Select Initial Setup
4. Select 'Format Additional Storage Device'
5. Say 'Yes'

Thats is the memory device will be ready for copying files. You can copy files to the phone now just like you are copying to another USB pern drive. Hope this helps...

Warning: Please make a note that second time you do this format you'll loose the existing files in the memory card (in case you've already formated first time and copied files to this...)
